Ok I am going to live

Yea, I know I have nto done much here. I am finally feeling better. I kept food down on Sunday finally and it has made a huge difference in how I feel! Good diet for me but man it was good to eat and not have to think about it.

I still do not get hungry so i have to make myself eat but I can do it now. John and Pam came on Sunday and Monday and I did not take one picture. that is how out of it I am. I take pictures all the time but just did not get that together yet. Lisa called today and I talked to her for an hour and finally figured out it is tuesday not Monday! So if I am supposed to be somewhere this week please call me!

But my headache is goen today. I am sleeping more then normal but I can see straight and my head is not going to fall off! (I know many ofyou were concerned) So I will be back up to blog posting again!

working on blogger

I am working on updating my blogger to the new one so bear with me if somethings change or are out of whack while I do this. I plan to go add labels to some older posts but I will see how that goes. I did it to the embroidery blog today and I like it but I have over 1000 posts here so it maybe something that is just from this time forward.

My funny puppy

You can tell he likes me. Since yesterday I spent the day sitting or laying. Mostly laying he was always right there. And last night at bedtime he cried and cried in his kennel. Why? Because I was upstairs. SO he spent the night in our bed under the covers with his paw on my foot. This morning he is by my feet. Not moving till I do.

I need to go take my meds but both of them make me want to throw up so it sucks. And I do not do well swallowing pills and these are huge! To bad I could not give them to puppy to take for me. But then I will never get to feeling better so I guess I will take them. And something for this headache again to see if it helps. But I am feeling better today then yesterday.

I wonder if Puppy plans on leaving my side at all. I doubt it but I am glad he cares that I am sick. He is even behaving really well!

update from me

I asked Dennis to drive me to the doctor this morning as I slept almost at all again last night. I felt horrible and my headache was worse then ever.

I think I love that doctor. Though normally I am not his fan but he gave me a shot in the butt of tordal and made my headache bearable. He also put me on 2 meds to clear up this sinus infection I have going on. I knew it was not good when the shot did not hurt until after my headache went down. Now I feel evertime I move my hip I know where the shot went in.

So I am hoping my sinus infection is cleared up fast so my headache does not return when this drug wears off. Dennis is making sure I eat or they want me to go to the hospital and so he watches me eat. Only problem is one of the meds makes me want to throw up.

SO I am signing off so I can go sleep somemore. I will come back when i can sit up longer.

Sick again

I do not know what I have but yuck is how I feel. My head is yucky I am dizzy and my arms feel funny so I know I am sick but I do not have a fever. I am headed to bowling tonight but I don't know how i will do. As I fell just off. It is the strangest thing. I thought about just getting a sub but I have only done that once and it was the day after I had gallbladder surgery. So I am not all into having a sub bowl for me so soon in the season.

But man I hope this passes soon!

Sleeping with puppy

yea I was watching Dennis do some computer work. And it must have been just exciting as all get out as I was out like a light and so was puppy! Dennis woke me at 11:30 and asked if I wanted to go up to bed or not. Yep I did and off I went to sleep the night away some more.

The webkinz pigs

I swear that Mini loves those pigs! Here she talked Dennis into being the Mommy pig and she was the baby and they sat and played. Got to love the kissing pigs!

movie night

Sat night we watched movies here. Well the kids did. Dennis and Stephen played a game and had a good time doing it to! So it was a good weekend here. Relaxed and not at a fast pace which is my very favorite kind!

My grill is fixed

So the parts all came in but one piece but enough that we could take out the old and put in the new! The first picture is of the old parts and the second of our new grill top and the third is a happy happy man who can go grill again!

I am so happy that the warrentee people were true to their word and shipped the parts without cost to us! I am so dang impressed with these people!

I think a Rat was in my house

So after L and A left I gave puppy his bath and Dennis always says he looks like a rat anyway but man when wet he really does look like a rat!

L and A came to play

Lisa's little ones came to play while she went to get a filling done at the dentist. And while there she found out it was not going to be a filling but a root canal instead! Sucks to be her! Now I remember why I do not go to the dentist!

Anyway we had a good time with the kids and Mini and Matthew played all morning with them. And Mini and A also got along really well and no biting or hitting! I was impressed!

Makes me grateful

An apartment building by my kids school burnt down Sat morning. The firemen were still busy with it yesterday. I am taking some things there for the families today. I will be sewing this week to make some more stuff up for the families too. And tomorrow plan to to gang meeting and Mom will send me some quilts home to bring them. I feel so bad for these familes as they are without homes today. Many have no where to go. The kids have friends who live there. I am just thankful no one was hurt.

Oh busy day here

It will be busy here today. The kids just got on the bus. At 9am Chuba is coming to give us an estimate on the storm damage we had back in April. As it is fall and hail should be gone for the season we are ready to have the guys come in and fix the house. Which means now I have to be here to watch people look at the house and then a week or so I suppose of them fixing it.

Then, I am headed to Costco as we need milk and any number of things for grocerys. And they have a few sales that I plan on taking advantage of. And then this evening we will be down at Mercy for Matthew. And after school as always there is homework to be done with the kids. But you know since school has started my weeks fly by. I am always amazed that another week is gone andI do not know where the time has gone.
The kids have awsome teachers this year and the kids really like them and they are working hard for these teachers and it sure makes a Mommy proud to see the work the kids are putting in.

I am glad I cut up my roast beef last night for the crock pot today. I am making french dip sandwhiches tonight. And this way it can slow cook all day and let me tell you it will be good and I can not wait for supper!

I got Matthew's shirt done last night which I am glad because with running today I am sure I would not have had time today. But he is loving the new shirt and he even took off his sunfish shirt for it! Now that is love!

Loving a dog

It seems to come so easy for the kids! Mini and Matthew wanted a picture with the puppy once more. It seems to be needed more and more but these came out nice and it was a beautiful day out there where they were playing together.

The train table

i thought we would be done with this train table by now. Samantha never played with it and Matthew is moving beyond it too at this point but not Mini. She does not care that it was not expected of her to play with trains. She is into taking care of a baby as much as she wants the trains to go around a track for hours on end. And she wants those trains to go and go and then she demolishes the tracks and starts over the next day.

Puppy is getting big

Lisa asked how big he was. Well there he is next to a pull up Lisa! Not much bigger then it. So if Mini sits on him he will be flat! I wish I had one from when he was first here though but I do not think I do but I will go back and look to see if I have him next to anything then I can post a comparison picture.

1000th post

I can not believe this is my 1000th post! I have been doing this for 2 1/2 years now. Since Mini was 4 months old. So family could see how big the kids are getting. And to look back at those same kids they seem so small back then to me and so very big now. And yet I know I will look back in a few more years and wonder where my kids went. As each Day Stephen turns more and more into a big kid and less and less my little boy.

Talking of looking back

I was thinking yesterday as I was brushing Mini's hair how long it is now. The first two pictures are her on Sept 20th last year. And the last 2 are from yesterday. I can not believe the difference! And we cut off a few inches this year to even out that hair of hers! Yikes can you say fast growing hair?!

Matthew's echo

Tonight we went to the hospital and had Matthew's echo done. He did great and all it took was a promise of a webkinz for great behavior! We assured him he was coming home with us and there would be no shots and he did awsome! Even the doctor said so. He told Matthew if he smiled and listened carefully we would be done in no time. It only took 30 minutes and we got great pictures of his heart. And all looks good!

The doctor said my son has a perfect looking heart it just sounds funny. Not too surprising with me for a Mom. But he is good and that makes me good. I feel like the world is just a bit brighter tonight. And I am just so relieved!

Wednesday is here

I am hanging out at home today. I plan to do a little scrapbooking, a little laundry, a little sewing and a little bowling tonight. So I am sure we will stay busy. The kids and Dennis will be picking up garbage at the soccer fields tonight with the boy scouts while I am off bowling. Good times for them! Mini is all excited to do it. I am wondering if she will think it so exciting after picking up all of those fields.

Crosby is coming over today to hang out to. So scrapbooking should be fun. It will be our first time doing it together. Matthew has school today. So we will run him up there during the day for a few hours. I can imagine what will come out of his mouth this week. I love to hear his stories he tell Sarah his teacher. Good thing she knows not all of it is true!

A boy and his dog

Matthew will come find the puppy at given times of the evening and he is always by my feet. And then Matthew comes to pet him and lay by the puppy since I will not let him pick up a sleeping puppy. So they will lay down there by my feet together and rest. A boy and his dog.

Matthew's Appt

So we had Matthew's appt today to listen to his heart. His reg ped said the murmor is still there but not a grade 4 when not ill. But she ordered an echocardiogram done at the hospital. So Thur night we will be down at Mercy at 7pm looking at his heart. The thought is kinda cool getting to see his heart. And then If they see anything adnormal he will go see the cardio down at Children's Hospital. As a Mom I will be glad to put this all behind us. Because, although I am sure his heart is fine and that it just beats different then most of ours and that it is worse sounding when he is sick I will be happy when the doctors get a good look in there and know for sure that is what it is.

So say a prayer for him Thur as he is nervous to have to go back to the hospital since they seem to like to keep the boy there. He has already asked his ped how long he has to stay. And she has assured him that he can go home Thur night already a ssoon as it is done. I don't think he believes her. So we will just not mention it till Thur night when we go. And make a promise of McDonald french fries for a brave little boy who does not cry going into the hospital on our way out. Yes I know they may just clog his arteries but I also believe a boy deserve them when he is scared. I may just have to make him the lizard shirt he wants out of me as a surprise to wear to yet!

I will update on it on Thur night though I am sure we will know nothing till at least Friday or Monday.

Please get me out of here!

Yes this is what i am sure this puppy was saying! He has been by my feet since the big fight this morning. But he hangs out by my feet most day. But man look at those eyes. It is a good thing he is going to the groomer this wek. Maybe he will look better then as the hair by his face is getting out of control!

See they do like each other

This morning after fights over who could pet the dog and hold the dog and then me taking all rights to the dog away. The kids have been getting along so very well! And for the first time in a week they are sitting by each other being as nice as can be. Who knew the power of the dog could be so great!?

We are doing what?!

This was Matthew's face when he found out poor Twitch was going to go get shots! I felt so bad for Matthew as he hated the thought his puppy getting a shot.

scrapbooking

Yes today I told Samantha we could scrapbook. So after church I went to Walmart with her and we printed out 140 pictures of Samantha. 71 for her and 71 for me. She worked on her boo and I worked on Matthew's as I had all his pictures printed out already. And I got 9 pages done this afternoon. That is it no more for me today. Samantha stopped after she did 3 or 4 of them.

And from the look on her face I asked her if it was as exciting as she thought? No was her answer. No but I am going to be glad to have these pages done for the kids when they are older. I love looking back at our family trip and I know I will love looking back at the kids as they seem to grow so very fats these days!

So besides sewing new shirts for Dennis and Matthew that is all I have done. It is rainy outside and I am not into this at all. The kids go play outside as they can not stand to be in the house any longer and come in soaked to the skin and cold and wet and dragging in all kinds of grass and dirt.

But at least it is nice enough out they can go play in the rain and no be stuck in the house. But after 3 days of rain I am all done!

Puppy appt and sick children

Yea so Twitch had his puppy appt and he did good. He hated getting his nails cut. He hated his shot but he won over everyone in the office to. He weighed in at 2.5 pounds and is healthy as could be. When we go to the farm in 3-4 weeks he will get another shot as a booster. They are breaking up his shots as he is so small. So he is going to get his rabies shots the week after the next one. Or if he shows no signs of a bad reaction to this shot he got today they will give him both next time the booster and the rabies.

I was so excited I was going to go out to supper with the neighbor ladies but as I was ready to walk out Matthew threw up. Why I am not sure. Most likly because I was going to leave as he was crying and getting all worked up as he is fine now and just ate supper with us all. So I am home tonight. I plan on puting in a movie and letting the kids watch it and I plan on a hot bath to relax. It has been one of the longer weeks as a Mom that I can remember.

I hate to say my kids drive me nuts but let me tell you the whining and the crying and the fits leading up to finding out Matthew was sick and then Samantha being crabby to yet on top of it all and then Mini and her terrible twos it has been a trying week for me. Does it make me bad. maybe but more then likely makes me human. But I sure do hate to admit that. So here is to a better week!

You lose

Yea so anyone taking me up on the bet just lost your 5 bucks. Samantha too is on antibiotics and will be home with me today. Yea so today is Twitches first shots and instead of having 1 child with me I am taking 3! But hay no need to rush home to get kids from school.


Also, when we had Matthew in last night they listened a long time to his heart murmmer. He will be going back to see his reg ped next week to have it listened to again as last night he graded it as a 3 or 4. Not that this means anything to me. But he said it is sigificant and he should have it looked at again and go see his cardio guy again. So next week we will go have his ped look at it and get the referal to go back to the hospitals cardio. Or one at Children's as I want to know this is looked at and for real ok. This is going to be our third trip to the cardio and it makes me nervous everytime. I wil let you know when the appt is when I get it.

Really? Really? I am so shocked

Yes that is my response when after having 2 crabby days with Matthew and not thinking much on it. then today he looked sick and said his kneck hurt and his head. Where he had got hit. Well, into urgent care we went and guess what with motrin in him he has a 101.6 fever. His kneck is fine but he has swollen lymph nodes which is why his kneck is sore. And he has those because he has strep throat. So Now Dennis is off with Samantha to get checked since she was the one throwing up and showing signs of it yesterday. But I just thought it was a bug or who knows what. But I would bet anyone 5 bucks she has strep. It seems so early in the season for this to start. But you know they go to school 1 week and now this starts. Should be a good year!

Home schooling sounds better by the day!

Our grill

It has had a rough few years between a few hail storms and all but the burners rusted through and it eats propane way too fast that way!

It has rusted the grill top and the ingniter does not work either. So Dennis talked to the warentee place and for the first time I have to say great customer service! She sent out the parts so next week we will have a grill that works again and is almost all brand new!

really is this my life?

Yea the other day right after I posted about Samantha's head Mini fell, hard. Where onto the excercise machine. Yea where you restyour foot she rested her butt cheek. It looked worse right away we iced it and now she just has a bruise. But really could we not fall and kill ourselves just for a few days so all the marks go away?

You know the kids do this in spurts so I expect a few more bumpbs though in the next week. Yesterday I got my first call from the school that one of the kids was sick. Samantha threw up at the end of the day. She did not throw up again and she wanted to go to school. SO off she went but I will not be surprised to receive another call today that she wants to come home. As when she walked out the door she said her stomache felt off again. Well stay home then. No because then she has to stay in her room or on my bed watching tv. Not that exciting for her.

We will see if she makes it through the day. Other then that I have been sewing a few towels and I made one of Connies sweatshirts. I am doing the second one today. And Puppy goes for his first shots tomorrow afternoon. Poor thing, I already feel bad for him!

what is that?

Yea I asked the same thing when I picked her up at school on Friday. What happened to your head? Well it seems her and Stephen share a break outside and they got to horsing around and trying to take each other down to the ground. You know my 5 foot boy and his little sister who weigh 50 lbs difference between them! Yea well he slippe dand cut her head a bit. He felt horrible and she said it did not hurt. I don't know if that is true or not or if she just did not want him in trouble. But off we went to the ortho.

And guess what?! NO BRACES for now anyway. She will need them in the future but for now we can hold off so she will need only one set of them in time. She goes back in 6 months to see if she needs any teeth pulled to make room for her adult teeth.

Yellow Lilly

Why it is blooming now is because my kids kept digging it up this Spring and it died and came back to life and grew and then they picked all the buds off but this one so i have one flower on it. It is one of my new ones. My pink one is still getting dug up on a weekly basis. I doubt it will grow next spring but we can hope right?

A night out

It was a Sat night and we went out to see Shorty up town. Larry and i went up with Nancy and she went hsopping we stayed in town. She came back later and we had eaten as Shorty was BBQing burgers and brats. So we had a full meal. Dennis came up later and Mom and Dad watched the kids so we could dance the night away as Shorty also had a DJ. I even got Shorty to take a picture with me since he is not really into that. Larry and Dennis were so excited as they beat us girls at darts. How no one knows but it happened.

Soda abuse going on

You know everytime Samantha loads the refrig with soda she drops a can and it breaks. She has to wipe up soda. Well, Sat morning Dennis loaded the frig and he dropped a can and it exploded. It was on my washer and on the floor all the way to the wall and all the way to the steps! Up on every shelf and all over the things in the door! Oh yea he is flipping me off as I took a picture of this mess! I thought it funny since I did not have to take everythign out and clean the refrig.

why are you doing this?

Yep that is what she was thinking. As she had woke up 1 minute before and I made her go potty and that look was on her face when I put her there and stayed there till she was done and got down and I held her. We did undies from Thur to Sunday this week and to say she is not good at potty training is an understatement. I hate knowing she could do it anytime she wanted to but chooses not to. She chooses to pee and poop in her diaper. Why? Because she says she likes to and therefore nothing I do is going to change this. She is in diapers as being wet or poopy in undies does not make her want to be changed any sooner. And lets be honest if she has no intentions of staying dry a diaper is much less work for me. And someday she will train I know this too.

Puppy news

So our puppy got his first hair cut. It did not go as I thought. He hated it. So we stopped after doing his back. I will take him to a lady I bowl with and have her show me how to do it without upsetting my puppy. As I am not willing for him to be so sad! Look at the way he looked at me! Like hello! What are you thinking lady!
