My snow globe

Last year for Christmas my sister Nancy gave me a snow globe. I got to take it out for the first time the other night and it is soo pretty I had to show it off. Matthew loves it and makes the lights come on and the music play all the time on it. Since the lights are just a button to push it is easy for him. Getting the music to go took a bit of figuring but he has it down pat now. You have turn that key thing on the other side and wow music comes out and you can dance!!

Stephen and Samantha

While setting up the tree Stephen and Samantha wanted their picture taken. And since they were being so very nice to each other we even got them together!

Could never say they were not related! I think there were some kids sucking up to Santa that night with all the good behavior going on!

Mini falls

So while we were setting up the tree Mini was getting tired and she tipped over into the closet doors. So we now have a beautiful bruise on our forehead. It matches her other ones.

You can tell she is tired when she can not seem to walk at all. She takes a step and falls over. and she looks at you like what is going on here Mom? Because she knows she can walk but night times seems hard to do lately!

Dennis had to untagle all the lights as Matthew felt the need to tangle them all up trying to help! What a great little boy we have!

Mini and her first Thanksgiving

Well since Mini really did not have much of a first Thanksgiving since her Mommy was sick. I guess she got nothing to eat as the chair is her food of choice! No really she seems to be cuting some more teeth. But she did not get any pictures her first Thanksgiving since I was sick so I thought I would give you one from later.

Mini and Dennis

Wednesday I came home from
bowling to find 2 sleepy people in my bed. Dennis never knew I took Mini back to bed. Poor guy has had a long week with having the flu and then the next day Stephen and I came down with it. SO right after he got over the flu he had to take care of us. So I guess it was a good thing he and Mini got some extra sleep Wed night!

Mini goes hunting

Mini watches Matthew play all the time with his gun form grandma and grandpa Nistler so she wants
to play too! It was so funny though as she took this up while Dennis was off hunting for his week. She would walk around with the gun over her shoulder hunting with Matthew! Of course she had to bring her blanket along in case she got tired!

Matthew and soup

Matthew wanted some of my soup I had made. And he was soo funny as you would think it was the best thing made this century! Each spoonful had to be started with and ended with, "mmmm this is the best food Mommy! You make such good food!" I am sure it was good but not that good! But he made points for buttering up the Mommy! And when Daddy made supper he told him his food was yucky he wanted more of Mommy food! Got to love him you know!

Mini and noodles

Mini was introduced to Chicken noodles with broccoli and sauce! And we have love here people! She loved every bite! As long as she was feeding herself that is! Of course this lead to a bath which is what I think her whole purpose in life is right now. Make self messy Mommy will give bath or shower. So we try really hard 2 times a day to get messy enough for baths!

If she hears water running anywhere she comes running to join right in on that fun! As you will see we have also introduced the tippy cup to her! She likes it sometimes but still will hold out for a bottle. She has a couple more weeks before she loses it but at least we know she can drink out of that tippy cup when the time comes.

Mini in my cubbards

Mini finds it oh so funny to empty out my cubbards here at home and play with the bowls in them. Of course Aunt Lisa had to get in on the fun and just had to show her how to beat on the pans to make more noise! Silly Aunt!! She did nto know Miss Mini knows all about that making noise stuff!

Here we had just finished cleaning up from Mini's party and then I had more bowls and pans to wash up. But at least baby was clean and smelling good to play drums!

Mini and her Cake

We celebrated Mini's birthday last Sunday with Mom and Dad and the kids and Grandma and Grandpa Nistler and Joe and pat and Lisa and Allen and the kids.

We had a good visit and Lisa got to be apart of Mini's first birthday this way.

The first picture is of the cake before we cut it and the second is of Mini when she first dug in and the third when we were taking her out to go take a bath!! She loved digging in and she loved playing in the frosting!

well for some reason I can not get to the pictures on my computer till Dennis fixes it. SO more pictures are on hold till then. I have new ones of Rose and her cake which are fun so you can look forward to that in a few days.

Dennis had the flu yesterday and is still not 100% today so it maybe a few days.

ok first off remind me not to take all 4 at one time ever again! No more of them together is all I can say! Wed went so well I figured today would be good too but nope. It was a long morning but we got some nice shots of the kids. I am just glad it is done and over with! And really they are beautiful shots.

Stephen is getting to be so big and looks so much older when you get the pictures of him done. And Samantha is getting all grown up on us too. I don't know where the time has gone.

Here are a few they took together. I will make some copies for everyone and get them in the mail here soon! I am so happy to finally have some really nice ones of the younger 2 to put on our wall!

Here is Matthew! He is getting to be so grown up! And did anything the lady asked him to do! It was soo funny as she asked him to lay on his tummy so he flops down spread eagle and waited for her to move him! Giggling the whole time!

I had Rose and Matthew at the photo studio today. These are 3 of the shots of Mini I have more and I have some that are enhanced too. I am so pleased with them!

Mini is 10 1/2 months

Just some close ups of the silly thing! She is always making faces at us. But is always a happy baby.

Mini and the box

Yes the day has come! She loves boxes! I took out the winter coats and she wanted in and in she went and walked round and round! I put a few toys in there and she played in the box! To think a built in play pen, though I am sure it would wear off soon enough! Too bad summer coats had to go in there and get put away so all the fun went away!

Matthew and Mini

Here is mini this year as a frog and I wnet and pulled one from Halloween 2004 of Stephen and Matthew. Granted Matthew is 6 months older in his picture they are about the same size. And they really do look a lot a like when you compare them at that age.

Dennis and I dressed up to to go out walking around. We had a great time and got to have a visit with all the nieghbors as we went. I came home with Mini after the cul-de-sac ones and Dennis went on with the older three.

We tried kissing the frog to see if she would turn into a princess but nope she stayed a frog! She loves giving out kisses though. And she licked Dennis , see Maria you did not even have to teach her it she learned all on her own!

Mini Rose and her 2 costumes

During the day while we did our running Mini me was eyore and a happy one at that and then at night she was a frog. Matthew wore this just 2 years ago. I can not believe he fit into it but he did.
They do grow fast! Mini did not get the trick or treating part but loved to wave at all the new people. We only let her go to a few houses here so our friends could see her as it was just too cold out there for her to be out.
