Tuesday's are bad

At least that is my new conclusion. I woke up sick yesterday morning and started throwing up. Not fun! I am doing fine today though. I started keeping done diet 7up about 1 in the afternoon. So then I started feeling a lot better. And after 2 tylonol last night my aches went away too.

Now we just get to hope no one else gets it.

Dennis is going to a thank you lunch today. As he has finished his big project. I believe today is the day he will get his award from the geek squad also. It is an award of excellence. He had a lunch yesterday too where he told people at bestbuy how he got the project done. Since everyone said it could not be done.

So that is what is up here. It is cold and still winter! YUCK!

Mini and her blocks

Mini has a thing for the big blocks! Loves them! Loves even more if she can get the older ones to build a big box so she can destroy it of course but blocks what else could a little girl need?!

Matthew and Austin

On Wed after my surgery Lisa my friend came over to sit with me while my Mom ran home for a few hours. And she brought her youngest son Austin! Matthew is so in love with him and so is Mini! Austin and Mini have a little thing going on that they love to chase the other one. Poor Austin is 6 months younger so he loses all the time now but he will get faster then she better watch out!

Matthew goes outside

I will never understand this! He loves to go out. He really does! But it takes 30 minutes to get all bundled up and then he is outsdie for 5 minutes and comes in as it is so dang cold out. That and I don't think he can move inside all these layers!

Mini had pink eye

Right before I had surgery Mini came down with pink eye. We had gone to visit with Mom and she was fine but then we got there and a few hours later she had gunky eyes and they got all red. So home we went and started drops and by tuesday you would never know she had it. Good thing as she did not get drops till we got home that night as we forgot to tell anyone.

we are all doing much better here. I am moving around just fine now and do not need to take anything for it anymore.

So I will be putting up new pictures this week. I took some of the kids this week.

My tummy

For Maria who wanted to see how cute I am now! I got to take the bandages off today so i am left with just these strips. It hurts a lot less today then yesterday and I am sure tomorrow will be better yet! The kids are a bit worried about the dried blood they see. But tonight I get to take a shower and that should look better then.

Some of you called to talk to me yesterday and found out that way some of you do not know yet.

I woke up yesterday in pain and at 1pm I gave birth to a gull bladder that no longer liked me at all. I am home and doing fine. Just sore. My Mom is here with me so if you are looking for her you will have to call my house.

Dennis took yesterday off to be with me and is back to work today.

Well Mini once again asked to sit on her potty and she shocked us all by going potty on it this once!!

Stephen is sitting watching the races. He did the cutting of his own car. He sanded his car all by himself.
Stephen with his 5th place trophy!! Yep he won 5th place this year! He is very excited!! He also won best use of color on the car.

Mini thought so highly of the races as you can see. Sleeping away at the end!

Are they not just the sweetest things when they are sound alseep! They never slow down during the day but at night they stop and dream sweet dreams.

Mini in an outfit Dennis likes to call her street outfit! He is so mean! But it is so soft! And notice we finally talked her into that she loves shoes! And of course we had to have our blanket. She goes no where without her favorite blanket!

Here is Mini playing on the computer tonight. She just loves to play jump start baby! I find him rather annoying! Find teddy is heard all the time here. But she giggles and claps and hits the key board to make Teddy come out to play.

Mini the button pusher

Yep Dad she is a button pusher the same and Samantha!

Mini is feeling much better otnight and was playing her computer which I have some great shots of too and decided she was done and hit the button and turned it off.

Then figured it was such a great game she started pushing the button and clapping and saying ohoh and then doing it all over again!

The world must be better

Well a little better anyway! Stephen is feeling much better today and Matthew is good as long as he takes Motrin! He is even eating today!! YEA!! So the boys are on the mend. Samantha did not get it yet or if she did not bad.

Rose threw up 3 times last night and has the poops today but she is happy and drinkinf away and eating cherrios so we will be through this soon I am sure. Tomorrow will be better yet!

Girl Scout Cookies

Yes it is that time of year again!! Cookies cookies and more cookies I say!! Samantha had her kick off on Sat to start selling cookies for the year! If anyone would like some just let us know! I am sure she will be coming to see some of you or calling most of you but incase she misses someone who would like some just post a comment and I will be sure she calls you!

Her mini goal is 140 boxes which gets them more money per box but she is aiming to sell 300 boxes this year.

Calgon take me away

So after 3 days of 102 fevers and throwing up and all the fun stuff that goes with it. Into the clinic Stephen went. I knew he felt bad when crying he asked to go to the dr! So it is viral and it is going around and sucks to be him is what it comes down too.

She said we will all most likely get it. Not if I can help it we will not. So today is lysol and cleaning as much as I can. Matthew has a fever this afternoon and coughing so most likly he is coming down with it but I sure do hope to stop it at him.

So wish me luck and say a prayer it passes soon. As I have had enough germs for a bit!

Just a bad week

Well today was religion class everyone was fine going in there. Samantha had her first reconcilliation today. She was very nervous but did just fine.

Well on the way home Stephen sound like he was getting a cold by tonight he is just sick. I sure hope tomorrow is better.

Dresser 1 Mini 0

I would say thank goodness for Friday but then this happened! After a long week for Dennis with work Dennis was reading the kids a story and Mini tripped on his foot and took a header into the dresser! Not pretty but she is fine. Just a nice purple knot on her head.

Peek a boo

Mini loves to play peek a boo and will put her blanket over her head and pull it down and just giggle as she knows it gets everyone to stop what they are doing and play!

She loves when she covers her face and you ask where is Rose? Where did Mini go? Then she pulls it off and laughes at you! And squeals when you are shocked each and every time!

Samantha is losing teeth

She lost her first 2 teeth last year right at Easter. Well now she is wiggling away at 3 new ones that are loose. She bit into an apple today it it made the bottom one really loose so not much longer before we see a visit form the tooth fairy again! Though is all 3 come out we will ot have many teeth in her mouth since she is still missing the one when she was a baby!

But since the top one she has left is loose that means 6 months till the one she has
been missing since 18 months comes in! I do not remember what she looks like with her front teeth! It will be a new Samantha for you all to see! I will get pictures when they all come out!

Stephen's hair cut

Stephen was in need of a haircut in the worst way. I asked him how much he wanted off and he said 1 hair! Silly boy! SO I did one cut down the middle and let him look at it! This is what he looked like. But we cut the rest off right after the picture and now he is looking as handsome as he always does!

I can tell he is getting bigger on me as he used to have a fit if even 1 hair was touching his ear now he does not care. Though he does not mind sitting for a hair cut either and does not offer a complaint when I tell him his hair is getting too long. I am waiting for that day when he wants
long hair!

Watching TV and eating

Really what else is there in life? Not much if you ask Mini or Matthew when it is snack time. Dora is fast becoming a favorite or Mini Rose as it is a favorite of Matthew. Her cousin Diego is also a favorite around here. Rose is getting good at eating apples too. She loves to eat the whole thing by herself. And Matthew still loves frozen waffles.

Mini

Mini had a great time sledding but when we got home she was wiped out and just could not be bothered to move. She was a bump on a log and even when she got her blanket she could not move enough to hold it or move it off her face! Poor thing slept really well though!

Sledding

Well we went out sledding last night. And you know someone had to hit a fence or tree. It happened to be Matthew this time. He went down with Dennis a few times then kicked Dennis out of his sled and told him he was a big boy he wanted to go alone like Stephen and Nana. Well he went down great for a few runs and then the fence jumped out in front of his sled but he he forgot to jump off. So the fence won, we got a bump. Though I must say he is really proud of his bump and scratch.

Maria he uses the yellow sled you gave Stephen when he was 2! It still works great! And bugs still fly off it!

Oranges

I was trying to make orange juice with the oranges and Mini started taking them all! Little stinker!

So off they went and she would go from the box to her cart and kept filling it higher and higher. Then she thought maybe they would taste good. In the end she decided I could make my orange juice with them. She even brought them to me one by one. I am not admitting how longit took us! But what a little helper I have!
