Samantha at the cabin

I did not get one of Samantha up last night. And I got unhappy faces this morning. So here is one of Samantha from the cabin. She was copying what Matthew was doing. Since we were all laughing at him. So then there were 2 try

ing to walk in buckets and having buckets on their heads. And of course it lead to tripping and bonking of heads.

It is always fun till someone loses an eye. But they did have a good time up there. And htis was taken right before bed. So she was already in pj's and all.

Dennis is den leader for Stephen once again this year. So I got a picture of the boys. They will be getting new scarves here soon since Stephen is a Wolf this year. I will have to get updated pictures then. Two peas in a pods is all i can say!

Cabin pictures

We went to the cabin last weekend. The weather man promised sunny skies all weekend! Ok I have no clue what sunny skies is to that man but it was cloudy the whole time and this white stuff kept falling on my head!! It made for a beautiful out doors but it was cold and wet to play out there. But the kids loved every minute of it!

Matthew found 1 gallon buckets on the floor and unstacked them all and found other places for them! Goofy boy!


Here is Matthew trying to walk in Papa's boots! That heavy brace weighes as much as Matthew does I think! But he got a few feet. Then he was tired out.
Here is Matthew carrying a cage you will notice. We had caught a mouse. well Matthew fell in love with the thing! YUCK!! Anyway we were going to let him keep it but it got away. And papa killed it then. Thank goodness. Matthew was sad but I was just glad it was not by me!

Mini at cabin

Here is Mini showing off her bottle hold skills. She is getting so good at sitting up and holding that bottle for herself! (shhh don't tell Daddy as she still gets him to hold it for her!)










Mini found it such fun to empty out the cubbards up there. Just like she does here at home. But she even found one there that she could climb right in and play!
She also found the apples and took a small tiny bite out of a few of them. Since only her bottom teeth are in far enough to get the skin broke on the apple it was a small bite but she got soo mad if you took it from her. Then she would just go get a new one! But we are happy to report that her 6th tooth broke and it is coming in!! SO we have 4 on top and 2 bottom ones!

Mini this morning in her new pj's! Oh so warm and fuzzy and oh so sweet she is! She is getting so good at walking and loving every minute of it. Her newest trick is she loves to walk with her bottle in her mouth so she doe snot have to miss anything even to drink her milk!

Lizard Hunting MN style

Yep matthew hunts lizards here too! You know he can not leave any lizard alone! So he was hunting away this morning once more. He is hunting crocs too but he caught the lizard. They are so much easier to catch when they do not drop their tails and run
away!

$5 baby!!

Dennis put Mini's snow suit on for the first time last night. A friend had given it to us so it had a price tag on it still and Dennis stuck it to her head! Poor thing was for sale for $5 and no one would take her! Good thing I would miss her little giggles that she is so good at now. And even her crying twice at night too I am sure! Though if she felt the need to sleep it would not break my heart either!

We went out to Berry Hill Farm last night for boy scouts and it was cold! But we went on a hayride and we got to stand by a fire to warm up after and have hot chocolate and cider! The older kids and Dennis went in the corn maze but Mini and i went to stand by the fire as she got cold even in her little suit since the wind had picked up!

Sunday morning we all got up early and just hung out. Stephen and Mini were hanging out playing gameboy and Samantha and Matthew played a fishing game. All smiles even before church you got to love nice peacful mornings!

Matthew potty trains

Well it has been almost 2 weeks in undies now. He is doing good really. We have no accidents at night anymore and we are dry during the day most of the time. Though we are still working on pooping on the potty.

But he is so very proud of his undies and has noiintentions of going back to diapers. And we are very proud of him!!

Mini falls into a basket

Mini was trying to reach toys in the bottom and she could not get there so she kept on reaching till she fell in. Then we took her out and she did it again so I finally tipped the basket over so she could get the block she needed so badly!

Stephen breaks his thumb

Well, while I was off at the dr with Samantha to check out her broken nose. Stephen stayed with a friend and while crawling on the floor and racing he crawled onto his thumb and it seems he has fractured the knuckle by breaking off a small piece of the bone. So we are in a splint.

So I am hoping now that we can have a much slower week ahead of us. But both are fine and everyone says how painful both are but both kids are not complaining so I will not be telling them it is suppose to hurt.

Samantha breaks her nose

Well at our gathering Sat night Samantha ran into Dominic and they bumped heads. Samantha came out with her first broken nose. The black eye is going away and the dr says the swelling in her nose will go away in about 2 weeks. No playing ball till then. Other then that she is doing good. She said it only hurts when she bumps it or she trys moving it.

work on the house

Well the work is done ont he siding of our house. This was taken last friday when the guys were replacing the siding on the playhouse. You know it must match don't you? So if you look that is the same color as the house. I will get some finished pictures in a few weeks when they put the rain gutters on the house. Then it will be 100% done!! I am so excited to be done with it!

We are having a gathering here at the house Sat at noon to break in the new deck and patio. So if you are in the neighborhood drop on by and visit!! We will BBQ at noon and have a fire at night if it is nice outside.

Mini learns to toddle

She is not walking yet but she deffinetly is toddling! And oh so proud of herself too she is! She is so funny! And growing so fast on us. I feel like everytime we turn around she is doing something new. She waves bye bye now and loves the stairs. She loves to yell da da to me and Dennis. But she is getting into saying Ma ma when she is all cuddled in.

She is great at taking out every toy we own right next to Matthew. Not good at putting them back or letting you put them back either. Like tonight I picked up all the match box cars 4 times before I just left them out till I got her into bed. She has weaned all the way now and is doing good with it. I was worried she would fight me on it but she has learned to love that bottle of hers!
She is working on figuring out the tippy cup too. She steals Matthews all the time and chews on it. And then all the water runs down her front! So i bought her some of her very own. So in the highchair she gets one each time we eat now.

She cut her 3rd and 4th tooth now too. The 2 new ones are on top. Not the middle ones though the one next to the ones that will be in the middle. The middle ones are on their way in right now. SO she will have 6 before we know it.

Next week she will turn 10 months on us. Our year so far has flown by!

Mini finds dirt

Mini found the little pot of flowers on the patio the other day and of course felt the need to dig in it! She was so cute trying to figure out what it was in there!

Poor flower did not turn out so well but it is too cold for them now anyway.

play time in tub

Oh so much fun in the tub!! The two little ones love baths and if Matthew goes in Mini comes crawling to get in the water too. Really anytime she hears the water run she comes. Yesterday she crawled in with Matthew in the shower. Poor boy never can get away from her!
