news on Mom

I have sat here for 2 hours deciding what to write. What not to write. Mom's pathology report came back tonight and it is cancer. We will not know anything more till the meeting Monday but she will be having surgery on Wed. I will be there.

Tomorrow I go on a field trip with Stephen and his class and then tricker treating with my kids at night. And in between I will pray. Pray Wed comes fast pray Wed stays far far away from me. Pray this is all a bad dream. Pray that my chest stops hurting at the thought of what the words cancer means to our family. To Mom, to Dad to all the kids and all the grandkids and the 2 great grandkids.

My Mom

Why can things not go good really? And this is a rant to get all rants but I am so not happy right now. Mom was doing soo dang good and now she will be having surgery next Wed. And I am just afraid. Last April they thought she had cancer and they were wrong so maybe once more they are wrong but I hate this waiting business. i suck at it lets be honest here.

My Mom is our everything. She is the glue to our family and I hate having to see her struggle or hurt and now this again. I hate the cancer word. I really do. Always have for that matter and now once more it gets brought up with her. Please pray all goes good next week. Monday they have a meeting with the surgeon and Wed looks to be the day of surgery. I will post updates as I have them.

Tonight I am feeling much better and I know Mom can do this again. Doctors do not know everything so until I have proof they are not getting me worked up any more. I will be in Watkins Wed next week and at the hospital during the day. Then we will take it by the day to see if Mom needs me. Really I am sure she will be sick of me soon after! You know how she hates to share her kitchen! LOL How I love to get in there though! Love you Mom and thinking of you!

I know I know

I have gone missing here a bit. I am busy and I just have nothing nice to say. So I am not saying anything right now. But we are good here. I am sewing this week once more. And now that Samantha is back in school today I can get somethings done. She was home sick Wed, thur, and Fri and felt much better Sat but even yesterday took a nap. Sat we went to Watkins selling popcorn for the boyscouts. Stephen forgot he had the sheets I think till this week. And now they are due tomorrow! Yikes! Anyway so we sold popcorn up a storm and Now I am all done! I need to sew for my craft show. And I got some fingertip towels that I need to cut holes in now and make bibs. But that will be later this week maybe next. I have 6 bowling shirts to make for a different team but have to wait on the shirts arrival.

So until then it will be craft show needs that will be worked on. I will post pictures as I have them on my camera from a wek ago just not pulled anything off in a week.

serious?

How is it that puppy can pee outside and not inside but talking the dang thing into pooping outside is almost impossible? Someone with some great plan please tell me what the trick is as I am about to make him stay in his kennel and cry it out and only let him out to pee and poop till he learns. The kids will hate it, he will hate it and so will I but I hate beyond words having to find surprises on my floor even more!

Mini and her baby

Mini needed a picture of her and her baby tonight. As she felt her baby is not getting enough pictures. And she wanted to show her baby off. That bear gets drug a great many places with her and is dirty as all get out. But now bear has a place here in this blog. And mini is happy. That is what matters people happiness in little people.

Oh so sweet

Oh my little Matthew. He can make my heart stop just by being him. He always lays by the puppy today he fell asleep next to him. And they laid there for hours while I sewed and they slept. I love moments like this as a Mom. Mini slept upstairs and I sewed all afternoon.

But I kept looking over to see my boy and my puppy getting closer and closer as when Matthew is sleeping puppy likes him so much more as he is not grabbing him. I love days like this.

Mini is upset

So we dropped Twitch off today to get beautiful and this is a girl who has never had to leave her puppy behind anywhere before. It did not go well. She cried for over 20 minutes as she did not want to be gone from him. So the hour he was gone was a long one here at home. But she is over it now and loves me once more as I went to get her puppy! Thank goodness she forgives easily! Wonder what she will think when I make him go get fixed?

Twitch goes beautiful

Twitch went to the groomer for the first time for real today. So he got his hair cut and washed and he is just soo dang cute now! And I thought him cute before! But he is soft and beautiful!

Pouring in shed

yep we also poured in the shed and we all got to watch as the boys went form long sleeves down to t-shirts as they had to haul from the fornt of the cabin in wheel barrels! Yea to ppour the floor! They got a good work out in! But it looks good and we all got to chat while they worked! I went in and made luch so when they finished up they could eat as it was after 1 before they finished up! So they cleaned up all the food and then they got back to work making it smooth!

Pouring a curb

Yea I am not sure how many people you can squeeze into a small small spot but we got lots in there! And supervisers from all over! The kids all had to check out the truck and the guy blew the horn for them! And the boys worked through it all! Even puppy got in on the action but he had to be in a coat or he wanted to go get stepped on. So we kept him up off the ground! Silly puppy never wants to be where he should be!

Such hard work

Being a kid is hard work let me tell you! The kids built another fort, to store things in this trip up there. They spent all day outside in the cold and played hard! And most took naps and still crashed at night! Matthew fell sound asleep before getting ready for bed on Friday. Like sound asleep before 7pm as he did not get a nap. He never slowed down enough to get one.

I love days like that!

The cabin

We got the cabin at 10:30 Thur night and we had 5 tired children that did not stay awake long. Well we had 4 children who slept and mini who fought it till the last second! But she and Matthew slept on the 2 couches and did good there. And puppy well he did good in his little kennel. And he got to watch some tv with Dennis too! Got to love that! Mini got a bean of course and had to play with it till she lost it in bed and then find it back and put it back in YUCK!

Anway, we had a good time and I have lots of pictures of puring concrete so I best get busy posting as I have some of passed out children also who played so hard they crashed hard!

Thursday a busy day here

thur I sewed and I hung out with Lisa all day. She came in the morning and brought us pizza for lunch and then we sewed and then we made 2 apple pies to go to the cabin with me. Yes grandpa was in heaven when we got there!

The kids got to play and then we took her oldest son with us to the cabin. And she got to be 1 kid short for a few days. Though I guess the other boys really missed him. Till he got home that was! LOL

But oh the pies got rave reviews at the cabin and both were gone when I left Sat evening.

Bowling night

Yea last week we bowled an awsome team and they had so much fun with us. It is nice when you bowl another team who just is there to have fun and enjoy the night! We won 1 and total points and lost 2 games. So we got 3 points they got 4. I would say we are no longer in 2nd place! LOL how we got there was beyond us anyway!

So tired

You know how somedays you are just so tired you think you could fall asleep anywhere? Well Mini she can really fall asleep anywhere and I mean anywhere. Because I am pretty sure a tile floor is not comfortable in the least but she slept there for well over an hour!

Home from cabin

Hey we are home from the cabin. I will be updating in the morning. lots to update as all the pictures form the other day and the cabin are on the camera. But tired beyond tired right now. And Ernie will be here in an hour so it will be a late night.

Sleep so needed though I will have to come stare at this computer in the am.

Heartbroken Mommy

I will upload pictures and all later. Today I took Mini for a big hair cut. Not a trim. And no I do not want any thoughts on this. She needed it. It is shorter, well way shorter but unless you plan to come to my house and brush her hair everyday while she crys because she hates it as she has monsters in her hair you do not get to have an thoughts or opinons on this choice.

That being said I cried on the inside as each chunk fell from her head. No more curls. They are gone. All of them. I hope they come back but I don't know. And I loved those curls. I loved her hair. And now she looks older. I want my baby back!

Dennis and Ernie

These boys can find things to break just to see if they can fix it again. Though all the work did pay off as Dennis fixed 4 problems at work yesterday from something he worked on here at the house. Got to love that even when they get older little boys like to play! It was so good to have Ernie here for 2 days for a visit. We had not seen him since last Christmas. I really wish he would move home again. Hint hint Ernie!!

Random shots

Matthew and puppy they go hand in hand. The puppy can come lay at my feet and then Matthew will follow just so he can be close to puppy. Because though the puppy is sleeping he just has to be near him. Out of all the kids he just loves that puppy. I mean they all love the puppy but Matthew just needs to be near him. Fingers in mouth and all just has to be by him. I love that.

Samantha and Kevin

On their last night here Kevin spent time with the kids! They loved the time with him and Samantha cuddled right in! And of course so did puppy.

Twitch goes to the groomer

Twitch finally got to the groomer. And he did good kind of. But he looks a lot better! And he got a cool bandana to wear home to! Dennis even likes that part!

Amari came to visit

Well so did Maria and Kevin but we had Amari for a few hours on Friday night so I got a few shots of him playing! Him and Mini played really well together while here. I was surprised as sometimes she is not the best sharer and with her being sick I was shocked she was not worse then she was. But she was crabby but a trip to the doctor helped some. Though she is still not feeling great. So I hope she gets to feeling better soon. He bottom is suffering greatly from this bug she has.

When Mini dresses herself

Yea when Mini chooses her outfits you just never know what they will be. So she picked her coat from her Halloween costume and cowboy boots and butterfly pants got to love it! As a bonus Amair was out playing with her so you get a shot of him to!
