The girls had made their own way up earlier. And I followed these boys up and tucked myself into bed. Dennis was still not home. But he got in and we got to hang out Sat and Sunday together.

Puppy in need of love
I went fishing and came back and my poor puppy was in need of some love. He was soo dirty though as he would roll in the dirt and throw himself pincones to stay busy. He too was ready for a bath when we got home. And he turned my water black! That white and tan puppy was all gray and black. his front line worked great though the tick that we found in his fur was dead and not bit on. It is good to know it works!

Cold Twitch
Twitch is all into wrapping himself in a warm quilt. It is sitting on my kitchen floor right now as I need to go find a laundromat to wash it. A little girl no names to be mentioned seems to have had an accident on it. And so did my puppy when we accidently tried to poison him by letting him out on the lawn after it was fertilized.
Anyway Twitch is feeling better but he goes and wraps in thw quilt anytime I am in the kitchen. I wonder how cold the thing can be with the house in the high 70's!

Dog races?
OK don't ask really. You most likely do not want to know.
But being who I am I will tell you anyway! Dennis was racing our puppy down the steps. Yes they did it more then once. the first time was a dead heat. Twitch almost beat hime but then he got tired I guess and Dennis well he still weighes the same so flew down the steps.
But Twitch would do it over and over as long as you raced him. I think it is a rigged race though. Or at least heavily weighted!

potty training
So I have not talked about it as it seems when I say how good my daughter and my puppy are doing at potty training they would go back to peeing on my floor. yes both of them. But Mini has been in undies now since October. And for the most part is doing great at it so I would consider her 100% trained now. But trained is not what happened in this house. It came down to. My Mom got sick I was focused on her and what we needed to do there and I put Mini in pull ups and never mentioned the potty again. And you know what? She trained herself. She asked to go potty and would hold it till we got to the hospital to go potty. She stayed dry for 2 weeks and I told her she needed to go to undies. And she had a hard time at first but then she got tinkerbell undies and she was all on board. And she never looked back. We still have odd accidents because well sometimes the potty the fartherest from you seems like a good plan. And then in hind sight not so great. But we are working on that to. A few times she found it funny to pull said undies down and squat in my toy room and living room and pee. Marking her territory from the puppy I guess. But that too we got over.
And as for our puppy at almost 10 months old her has gotten really good at the whole potty thing. Outside and off my pavers! Though when it was 30below he peed on the pavers and really I did not blame him get the job done and get back in the house. Now that is is nice out he take froever to find that perfect spot to pee again. Now the new job is to teach him to stay in my yard or I will never let him out again! As he finds the middle of the road an awsome playzone!

catch up post
Does Dennis not look dang cute in his Christmas gift? It is so when he works on the computers or car it shines light for him. It take a man to wear something that funny and not care!
And is Twitch not just making you shake in your boots with that look? Dennis got him worked up and this is what he looked like. I think he wanted to tell Dennis to stop chasing him but I do not know. Maybe he is going to attack? Except that right after this he curled up in my lap and slept!

So tired
Mini and I and Twitch took a nap yesterday afternoon! I was so very tired and it was warm under the blanket! Mini had scared me to no end before she went to sleep by coming up to me and putting her nose on mine while I was sleeping and then hitting my face. So then she crawled up by me and slept and of course if I was sleeping so was puppy! I swear he doe snot ever leave my side!
Not coming out
Twitch was afraid when we came home we may just leave again. I did not put his kennel upstairs right away and he was afraid of getting left home alone so he kept going in his kennel to sit in case I was leaving. And he is a big brother! His mommy had 2 more puppies on New Years day! I want to go up and see them soon. No we are nto getting anymore puppies. One is enough! But he should get to meet his sibling don't you think?!

Decotrating the tree
Yea so we finally got the tree up. Well it took an extra day to get the angel up as I needed more help from Dennis and he left for work the next morning. oops! We are not so good this year with the whole getting into this Christmas thing. I don't know but it is good we have kids or I would have ignored the whole tree thing this year. And I have to say Mini left all my ornaments alone last year and this year she has rearranged the tree at least 10 times now and she is good at losing all the hooks! Driving me nuts! Thank goodness the thing comes down in a short week. Of course Twitch was so very energetic while we decorated! Got to love that dog!
This too is the first year we just gave each of the kids their boxes of ornaments and let them just decorate the tree. We put the hooks on for Mini and Matthew but that was it. I put one ornament on this year. And that was fine by me. I am figuring in a few short years the kids will get out my stuff and decorate my tree for me without me to help. Maybe by then I will be back in the Christmas mood.

Poor twitch
yea puppy has had a rough life as of late. He got fixed Wed and he had to stay with Mom and Dad Tues night and it did not go well from what I hear. he hid under a bed all day and Dad had to chase him out to make him go out potty. And then Wed I came to get him and bring him home after getting fixed. He was soo happy to see me. I met Dennis at the bowling alley and he swapped cars with me. And poor Twitch did not know. He sat by the car after Dennis let him and waited for me to get out and I never did! The injustice of it all! And then Sat came and all these people came in the house! It took him hours to come out of hiding and see what was happening but he did finally settle into the fact that people were there get over it.
But he is much happier today as I am busy sewing and he is busy sleeping at my feet!

serious?
How is it that puppy can pee outside and not inside but talking the dang thing into pooping outside is almost impossible? Someone with some great plan please tell me what the trick is as I am about to make him stay in his kennel and cry it out and only let him out to pee and poop till he learns. The kids will hate it, he will hate it and so will I but I hate beyond words having to find surprises on my floor even more!
