hello there

Are you just dying waiting for me to update some more? Well it will have to wait I have lots of people here today and more coming tonight for a BBQ. So this is all you get. Mom and Dad are coming and Nancy and Larry I hear to, And Kristie is here for Supper and Linda and Alan and the kids are here for the weekend.

So busy night here. And I am busy sewing a shirt so it is never dull here.

End of the year party

We had our end of the year party with our girls. It was our last meeting for much of the summer. So they got patches and they got to run around and play. It was a good time for everyone.

This child

This child can make my heart swell with pride, with love, with frustration, with laughter, with anger, with bewilderment fast then any other child. She can make me laugh and cry all within 5 minutes. How is that possible? Yesterday ended as one of the harder days I have had as a Mom in a long time. She knew my buttons and pushed them all at least ten times because she could. I was a happy Mom when night time came and it was time for children to go to bed. Dennis and I sat and watch a movie together in quiet. And we had a beer together and just sat. Yea it was that kind of day. And this child had a lot to do with it. But, with all that said when she sleeps the day seems to melt away and today is another day. And I know it will be rough here for awhile as she is in the process of larning a hard lesson. She can not have her way all the time. Yes, my fault she thinks she can but it seemed better then listening to the complaints all the time. And the older kids used to take htings from her on general perpuse because they could. Well now she expects the world to fall at her feet.

Oh it is good I love her so dang much!

And the wings came

Kent finished first then Dennis. Ernie finished but not in the 6 minutes. So no t-shirt fro him. But Dennis and Kent can say, been there done that have the t-shirt.

They were timed by the waitresses. They I know were laughing with us girls.

It hurt our eyes, it hurt our throats but the wings arrived and the boys ate.

Doing the Blazin Challenge

This looks like a contract it was. The boys decided to do the blazin challenge at buffalo wild wings. 12 blazin wings in 6 minutes. We made them sit at their own table. We still smelled it at ours. The place makes them sign away all responsibility for being silly men.

And us women who love them took pictures and laughed so very hard at them. Signing away life. And then came the wings.

Musical program

So it not a concert and it is not required to go to but we did. This was during a song the kids were dancing and singing and really controled mayham is what I decided it was.

Mini not so into seeing her big brother and sister in the concert.

Matthew loved every single minute of it and sang along and just would have stayed all night if they would have kept singing.

Stephen is on the right next to the teachers fingers top row.

Samantha is on the left right above the music stand top row. This was right up Samantha alley. She loves to sing and it was a cute program. And both kids went willingly. So it was good.

Yes I am that Mom

I am that Mom who lets her kids dress themselves.

that Mom who lets her kids wear whatever in the backyard

that mom who laughs when they think they did such a good job

that Mom who could care less if they want to wear rain boots 10 months out of the year

That Mom who will protect her kids from others forever

So beware if you want to say I should do it different. I do it my way the best I can. And you know what I am doing ok. And my kids think I great most of the time. Well not Mini let's be honest she told me she was going to let someone else be her Mom and she was sending me to the dungeon because I told her she was crabby. God I love that child!

Soccer has started

Ok it started weeks ago and I am that behind. This is from his 1st game. Tonight he is off to his third game. And he only has one a week. So yes I get it. I am working on it I swear.

The first night was cold and windy. Like a tree fell over in the neighbors yard windy. But soccer is not called unless it is lightening and there was none so we played. My face hurt form the wind when we got home.

The girls seen very little of the game they were busy on the swing sets but they did come watch the last 5 minutes or so of the game.

Look at that wind! I am telling you with no rain here really in over a month and this wind they sky looked like a huge storm was on the way but it was dust in the air from the poor fields. We need rain!

Matthew got to do a corner kick at one point. (no I have no clue why you do a corner kick) I swear my kids play soccer and I just do not get it. I know which way they need to be kicking I cheer them on but please do not ask why calls are made or not made.

I also do not know why he has a t-shirt on that says Larson. They have new shirts now that are called copper. Reaaly they are tan but do not tell Matthew as he was told they are team copper. He will argue till you give in.

My boys trying to stay warm. Me they left me to freeze my butt off. No one kept me warm at all.

He is so little out there. And in his age level they are really really lax on the rules. I mean part of this game another field was playing in our field because they kids just did not stop kicking the ball. It is funny to see.

Plumber Mini

Oh this girl cracks me up! I mean really how funny she is!

Yes that is plumber crack!

Lisa's tree

When we got back to Lisa's house I had to take pictures of her tree. The whole yard smelled so good from these trees. And this year with no hail we got to enjoy all the awsome blossoms. She has a white one I did not know they were the same kind of tree but they are. But oh the smell is awsome! I wish they bloomed longer into the summer.

So many tired children

So Crosby and I went out for the day in her car. And on the way home we were making stops at the cubs in the area for coke for Nancy. (yes that is how far behind I am) and The kids were quiet in the back and this is what I saw. They were watching wow wow wubzzy. It holds magical powers I tell you. But 4 tired children and 2 Mommies who were happy to get home after running around had a great day of visiting and just hanging out.

ok yea just wait on it

I am working on it really! I know I am slow and I am so far behind I may never catch up but I will try hard to blast you with posts and updates on my children. As I know that is what you read for to see pictures of the 4 children I call mine.

Yes I am behind

I am behind. I just finished updating from the zoo over a week ago! YIKES! I try not to get this far behind because then this happens and I have to post 5 posts a day for a week. I have lots more pictures but it will have to wait. I am so tired. i went to plant at Mom and Dad's today.

Nancy your soda is in the garage. Kristie your pants are there to.

Linda I brought your bags to the farm then brought them back to my house as I know you are coming here in a few weeks.

The kids love the puffer fish. Why no one knows it never puffs up. Just swims around. But they look for it and follow it each time we go to the zoo.

New exhibit

I swear we could toss them all in a cage and watch them and I would not be bored. Dennis included because he gets them all wound up for mad or happy faster then anyone I know.
