Yes my son is growing up on me. I would have never let him drive the boat yet but Grandpa said he could and it took some doing but by time we left he was pretty good at it even. His mother had a heart attack and really it was good I was not there to watch him get it back in as I do tend to try to tell him how to do everything. I admit this not lightly. I know I need to step back and let him be a kid but let him grow up. Bo one told me it would be so very hard to do though. So I try and do the best I can and then close my eyes and pray he learns before he kills himself. And he did and did good at it too. He even took Matthew out 2 times fishing.
