Arriving and a storm

Well I somehow got these up here backwards. So if you go to the bottom and read up you will get the story in order. I can not fix the pictures to flow the right way. The tent only got a little wet and so at midnight our boys got to climb into bed. And we made it lights out then.
But let me say not a lot of sleeping going on there. I went to Walmart the next night to go get ear plugs and I finally got some sleep. WOW is all I can say. It is a train hub for 2 big areas. 17 trains in a few hours. Then add in snoring and boys talking to girlfriends on cell phones near us and no sleep.

Troop 111, troop 46 and troop 373 boys

They asked me to take some pictures of the groups.

But as time went on the boys who had all traveled to get here were all done bing in a building they could not move in. And we were in there about 2 hours.

The boys loved it.

They had us all go into the museum for shelter to be safe. 553 boys, do I really need to tell you about the stink in there? They sang, and did skits and tried hard to keep the boys from going nuts. We were under a watch for hail and we had rain and some bad lightening. The sky got just black. But we never heard a thing in this building. It is the one form the other post. It seems to be sitting all alone. We were in the Stuhr Museum's Fonner Rotunda.

We knew by time supper was over we were in for a storm.

We met troop 46 at Godfathers to feed the boys. We met them at the rest area and we got to camp next to them. They had a really good group of boys.

This is the train that you drive by on the way into the camp. Notice nice blue skies.
