Birthday party pictures

these are some of the pictures from Mini's party and I have to say. I am so glad I blew up all those balloons. I am so glad Dennis helped me the next morning blow up some more! I am so glad I set up a princess castle for her. And I am so very happy she loved her day of baloons and cake and presents! Because she loved it all of it and the baloons were drug around and played with and by last night looked like one big tangled mess. She put them in her castle and out of her castle and in her castle and back out once more. She got to blow out her candles on that princess cake and she had help from Kristie. Her face when she saw her castle and balloons for the first time was priceless. There was much food to be had and we all ate lots to make up for people who did not come. And the cake was as good as always form Costco. I would stay up late and do it all again in a heartbeat to see that squeal of delight of all the balloons.

bedtime

I am working on lots of posts and have lots of pictures to post but not tonight. My bed is calling me and after a long day it is time I hit my pillow and crash for some much needed sleep!

So pictures of Mini's birthday will hold and he birthday post from me too will hold till a day after her birthday. But to say it was a wonderful day for her. That will have to hold you over.

Costco trip

Mini and Matthew and I went to Costco on Friday to get Mini's cake and food. They were troppers and they told the world that Mini was turning 3 the next day so she got lots of Happy Birthdays. I took their pictures after we shopped and we were eating hotdogs. Then I saw how big Mini's bruise was from her fall the day before! Oh great the day before your birthday you have this huge bruise and it shows for pictures! She fell on a step at burger king the day before smacked her chin I knew it would bruise but it really is not pretty!

Dennis andh is wine

Yes my Dennis got to drinking wine there at the party! The wine was from Australia and Dennis liked it. It was a fruity red. That is what I got out of what the lady said. I am so not a wine drinker. But he did cook to and made me food so not a bad man if I do say so myself!

Ep Christmas Party

These are pictures from the party once we arrived. Eric you can get a copy of all the pictures if you want I can send them down with Dennis when he works Friday. But this is your preview. We had so much fun and look Mom we ate veggies too! But can you say too many cooks in the kitchen? So off I went to take pictures and drink some beer with the boys. I love that this group of people are so much fun to just hang out with! I think the chef was thinking what the hell did you bring me to work with when we were cooking, but people got their hands dirty and the food got made. The beer got drank and so did the wine. And fun was had by every single person there!

Out for a Date

Last Sat Ep sent a limo for us and delivered us down at dinner. We had so much fun. I had gone Thur to get my hair cut and colored and styled for my hot date. It was such a good night and so nice to go and hang otu with Dennis and not having to worry about anything as EP took care of it all for us. And hanging out for a whole night with Dennis is one of my favorite things to do!

Out singing

So after bowling the girls asked if I wanted to go out and sing with them. We had soo much fun and I got up and sang 3 songs. Well 2 of them i sat in my chair and sang because you know in front of people so much worse for me then being just in the crowd. But fun!! I plan on doing this more with the girls as we had a blast!

Yea so these are just some I took 30 pictures of all 4 and 1 came out good. Not my favorite but really I give them credit it was cold outside and they sat there till I was happy and then when I had taken them and hated them all they trooped back out there till I had the shot I wanted. And now I have Christmas cards printed. I have 8x10's for my wall I have 5x7's printed out for godparents. I printed wallets for Dennis. And now all I have to do is write a Christmas letter so I can mail out these cards. I am so not on top of it this year though. But you will receive your card and you will get your enlargments and if you do not get enlargments and you want them let me know. I will get them out to you.

Pictures of the kids

So I got pictures of the kids. I forced them to sit still long enough to take them. I made them wear sweatshirts that matched. I drug them to see Santa and I made them smile. But talking 4 kids and a dog to look at you and smile all at the same time is not an easy task. the lady by Santa tok a great many shots and the one we finally agreed upon was not the best but really it was never going to get better either. These shots are the ones I finally got here at the house. And really the individual ones of the kids were quick and easy and painless. And the one of Matthew and Mini together was a wonderful accident and I love the shot. And it was not the younger ones whom I found difficult to get pictures of it is those 2 older beings that live with me that make it so very difficlut! And least you thnk I got these on the first try I will be posting some of the out takes!

Oh the love

Oh I know we have mentioned her love before but Thanksgiving we left it at the mall on our way to Iowa. Yea not good! Dennis saved the blanket but he was not coming down for 2 days! Two very long days! The first night took her 3 hours to go to sleep without that blanket. Three very long hours! I had stopped at Walmart on the way down to see if I could find one kinda like hers. She picked one out and would lay with it but said it does not smell it doe snot feel the same. Oh how I love that blanket of hers. I wish Ihad another one to keep in the car for emergencies!

But come Wed night Dennis brought her back her blanket and she fell in love with it all over again and let me say I have a wasted blanket sitting at my house. As she has not touched the new ones since her best friend came back to her. And do not think I do not know that I rate lower then that blanket. She smelled all over that blanket this week to be sure it is still there. And it has not left her hand for very long this week either. We will not leave home without it again!

Why oh why did Target get rid of this series of blankets?!

St Nick

So last night the kids tell me St Nick is supposed to come can they set their shoes outside. Sure set them in the garage. Well they woke to candy in their shoes. But after thinking on it St Nick is supposed to come tonight! But whatever they are happy and that is what counts. Though this morning they were not all happy. Samantha and Stephen figured out I had put the candy there. How? They had seen the bag in my office. Thankfully I had 2 bags showed them the closed one and they decided maybe I had not put it there. Yes, I know soon they will know but not this morning on the way to school and all sad. Soon they will know for years we lied about Santa. I am not quite ready for this magical time to be over.

but the irony of telling my kids not to lie and then looking them in the eye and saying Santa and St Nick are real is not lost on me. But oh the excitment Matthew and Mini had over the fact that you leave your shoes in the garage and candy shows up was one I wish I had a video camera for! And they would not wear the shoes St Nick had put candy in either today. No they left them in the garage in hopes he would return to put more in there.

Nothing to say

Really that is how I feel. Nothing to say. I am home from Iowa and I am getting all unpacked. Laundry is done. I am rearranging my basement to fit everything I got at the bent and dent. Linda I am sure is doing the same.

What is wrong with me? No clue but I need to get over it. Sat we have our big Christmas party with EP. I am looking forward to a date night with Dennis. And the following Sat Mini will be 3. We are having a gathering at noon. Anyone who wants to come is invited. Mom and Dad are coming.

So I need to get in the mood to celebrate the holidays and Mini's birthday but so not in the mood. I just want to stay home and be a bum. I have to order pictures and I need to write a Christmas letter. I need to write my Thanksgiving post and I need to get Christmas cards to mail out to everyone. Not so into doing that though. But it will get done.

Getting ready

the car is almost all loaded. Lisa is packed and almost ready and I am working on the last shirt I need to finish before I can leave and then this family is headed to the pig farm for a week long visit! The kids are looking forward to days of the barn. I am looking forward to time to relax and spend with family.

We are going out for supper with Dennis before we leave. And he will join us in a few days. So if I do not get back on Happy Thanksgiving to you all! And I hope your weekend is safe and fun filled with family and friends!

See i do have a son who is older and is still alive and kicking! I snuck in there and took the picture or it would not have happened. Poor guy!
